Voices that Inspire

A collection of some of my favorite TED Talks, Vimeo/YouTube movies, podcasts and speakers putting out their stories, thoughts and beliefs to inspire others in a positive way.

As with the quotes, I’ll occasionally update this page as I uncover more lovely content, so check back here for updates!

The Joy of Surfing in Ice-Cold Water- Chris Burkard: Striking images and a beautiful message from this surf photographer. “Anything that is worth pursuing is going to require us to suffer, just a little bit.” This TED talk inspires us all to explore beyond the mundane and acknowledge the preciousness of every little moment.

Gabby Giffords and Mark Kelly: Be Passionate.  Be Courageous.  Be Your Best: From TED.com- After Rep. Gabby Giffords was wounded by a would-be assassin’s bullet in January 2011, she and her husband, Mark Kelly, a NASA astronaut, retired US Navy captain and combat veteran, have become known around the world for their story of hope and resilience.
